A black day for the environment:
The Europeans don't care apparent how much more unnecessary CO2 is blown into air by the outdated bulb, because according to European Union commission speaker Ferran Taradellas Espuny, the European union will final stop the energy wasting bulb only in 10 years! There also did not help the presentation example of Australia, which forbids the sale of Edisons invention starting from 2010 legally. It borders nearly already on scorn that the first suggested variant is called as "ambitious" and plans that one year after the decision all lamps would have to be replaced with an achievement over 40 Watts by energy energy-savings lamp and two years later also the 40-Watt-Bulb. Only five years after introduction of the new standards would have to be replaced then only all conventional halogen bulbs. The second scenario, naturally suggested by the industry, sees a still more slower transferred forwards. A further sad attention mark lies also on it that the pollution free LEDs were not even mentioned and the mercury content of the special refuse requiring energy-savings lamp were talked beautifully, with the reason: According to VKI that the energy eating bulb has a clearly worse mercury balance, because during the generation of energy in caloric power stations also mercury is set free. For this only the example occurs to us, i.e., if the dog bites itself into the tail...
